Careful prep, clean finishes, and color guidance built around how Boise light hits the room.
Boise homes cover the full range of styles and eras. A 1920s North End bungalow with original plaster paints nothing like a Harris Ranch new build, and a Boise Bench mid-century ranch with original wood trim asks for a different approach than either. Our interior crew has worked across all of it.
From color guidance through final cleanup, we handle the whole job: furniture protection, surface repair, priming, two coats of finish, and a walk-through. You stay in your home through the project. We work one section at a time so you keep your routine.
What We do
Walls, ceilings, and trim across every room in the house.
Bedroom refreshes, statement walls, and color test pilots.
Baseboards, casings, crown molding, and interior doors finished by hand or sprayed.
Standard work on older North End and East End homes with original plaster walls.
Quoted after a site visit since some papers come off in sheets and others do not.
Included free with every estimate. Fan decks, large samples, and natural-light testing.
Homes built before 1978 (most of the North End, East End, and parts of the Bench) need lead-safe protocols on trim and old paint. We are EPA-certified and follow the rules.
Plaster walls move and crack differently than drywall. Our prep approach (skim coats, mesh tape, the right primer) keeps the repairs from telegraphing through the new paint.
Boise sits at 2,700 feet. South-facing windows pull in more UV than most of the country. We talk through how a color will read at noon versus 6 p.m. before you commit.
Low humidity makes drywall dust float for hours. We use HEPA vacuums, containment barriers, and zip walls to keep prep dust out of the rest of your home.
Our Process
We walk every room you want painted, look at trim, plaster, and ceilings, and leave with large drawdown color samples.
A project manager builds a schedule that matches your routine. Most bedrooms are completed in a single day so you can use the room again that night.
Furniture moved or covered, floors protected, walls repaired and primed where needed, two coats of finish.
We walk every elevation with you in the late-day light, fix any missed spots or touch-up areas, and clean the site.
Common Questions
For a 2,000 to 3,000 square foot home, plan on four to seven working days. Smaller jobs of about 1,500 square feet with walls and ceilings only finish in two to four days. You get an actual day-by-day schedule before we start, not a vague window.
Almost never. Our crew works one section of the home at a time and seals it off with poly so you can still cook, sleep, and live in the rest of the rooms. Bedrooms are scheduled to finish in a single day so you have your room back by night.
Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore for most projects, with PPG as a third option when the spec calls for it. Our default is Sherwin-Williams Cashmere or Emerald for walls and ProClassic for trim because they hold up to Boise’s UV through south-facing windows and clean without burnishing.
Yes. Bring us a fabric swatch, paint chip, photograph, or even a ceramic mug. We scan and color-match in the store, then do a large test patch on your wall in your light before mixing the full job.
Both. Wallpaper removal is quoted per project since some papers release in sheets while others fight every square foot. Plaster repair, skim coating, and patching are standard work for our crew and a regular request in older North End, East End, and Warm Springs homes.
If you have been putting off the interior repaint, we make the project easier than you expect. Color help up front, a clear schedule, careful prep, and a finish you can run a hand over without catching a brush mark. Call the Boise number or send a quick note and we will get an estimate on the calendar.
